Emotions ran wild, ran free,
Emotions never meant to be.
A foolish spark lit in haste,
Now leaves the most bitter taste.
Infatuation perhaps, but not love,
Wrapped your heart, tied it snug.
It was love that had my heart,
That makes this the worst part.
Now your love has gone cold, run dry,
Blasting my heart to pieces, sky high.
Perhaps we can rekindle, though likely not,
So I find myself in a most depressing spot.
I try to convince myself to move away,
To recognize the fact that I got played.
Perhaps one day I will move on,
When my love for you is dead, completely gone.
